Joanna received a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia. Her love of traveling led her across the globe to study law at Bond University, Australia. In 2011 she graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree and Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). She is passionate about resolving legal disputes, and especially, claims for negligence.
Joanna has worked at Clarke Law since September of 2011 and completed her articling at the firm. Throughout her time working at Clarke Law she gained experience in all aspects of the personal injury litigation process. She has attended on various motions in court, both contested and uncontested, appeals, and assisted with trial preparation.
Joanna became an Associate Lawyer at Clarke Law following her Call to the Bar in September of 2013.
Joanna takes great satisfaction in helping injured people and their families through the difficult process of the personal injury action. She has an interest in resolving a variety of disputes utilizing alternative dispute resolution methods. Joanna is proficient in the Polish language and provides non-English speaking clients with access to justice by assisting them throughout the steps of the personal injury action.
When not working, Joanna enjoys cross-country skiing, horseback riding, and learning about computer and electronic technologies.
Joanna is a proud member of The Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
